What does “Care More” mean?
Care More is a reminder to live with intention. It’s about caring more about what we consume, how it’s made, and the moments it creates—but, more importantly, it’s about caring for people. For ourselves, for one another, and for the spaces we share. Every piece is rooted in the belief that small, thoughtful choices can carry love, connection, and meaning into everyday life.
What are Care More candles made of?
Our candles are crafted using a reusable concrete vessel paired with replaceable soy wax inserts. Each component is intentionally selected for longevity, safety, and sustainability.
What type of wax do you use?
We use 100% soy wax, chosen for its clean burn, low soot, and renewable sourcing.
Are your candles scented?
Yes. Our candles are lightly to moderately scented to create a calming, intentional atmosphere without overwhelming the space. We also offer Scentless Candles!
What materials are your vessels made from?
Each vessel is made from a custom concrete blend designed for durability, heat resistance, and a timeless aesthetic.
How does the refill system work?
Once your candle has burned through, simply remove the remaining wax insert and replace it with a new refill. The concrete vessel is designed to be reused indefinitely.
If any wax residue remains, you can pour hot (not boiling) water into the vessel. The heat will loosen the wax, allowing it to rise and harden at the surface as the water cools. Once fully hardened, the wax can be cracked and lifted out easily, leaving the vessel clean and ready for its next refill or reuse. Always allow the vessel to cool completely before handling.
Why did you choose a refillable system?
Our goal is to reduce single-use waste while encouraging mindful consumption. Refillable candles allow you to enjoy new scents without discarding the vessel.
Beyond its use as a candle, the concrete vessel is intentionally designed to live on. Once the candle’s life has ended, the vessel can be repurposed as a planter for small plants, a pencil or brush holder, or a minimal storage piece—extending its value beyond a single function. This multi-use approach reflects our belief that design should be both sustainable and adaptable across disciplines and everyday rituals.
Are the refills recyclable or biodegradable?
The soy wax is biodegradable. Packaging materials are selected with sustainability in mind and may vary as we continue to improve our impact.
How do I care for the concrete vessel?
Let the vessel cool completely before handling. Clean with a dry or lightly damp cloth. Avoid soaking or placing in a dishwasher.
Is the concrete heat safe?
Yes. The vessel is engineered to withstand normal candle heat when used as directed.
Are your candles safe to use indoors?
Yes, when used responsibly. Always burn on a stable, heat-resistant surface and never leave a candle unattended.
Do you use lead-free wicks?
Yes. All wicks are lead-free and selected for clean, consistent burning.
Are your candles pet-safe?
While we avoid harsh additives, we recommend keeping all candles out of reach of pets and ensuring proper ventilation.
Where do you ship?
Currently, we ship within the United States. International shipping may be introduced in the future.
How long does shipping take?
Orders are typically processed within 7–10 business days, with shipping times varying by location
Do you accept returns or exchanges?
Due to the nature of candles, all sales are final unless an item arrives damaged or defective.
If your order is damaged during transit, we are happy to offer a replacement at no cost. To ensure fairness and protect against loss, replacements are limited to a maximum of three (3) items per order. Damage must be reported within 5 days of delivery and include clear photos of the item, packaging, and shipping box.
We do not offer refunds or replacements for damage reported outside this window or caused by misuse, improper care, or normal wear over time.
What should I do if my order arrives damaged?
Contact us within 5 days of delivery with photos of the damage, and we’ll make it right.
How are Care More candles made?
Care More candles are designed and produced in small batches with attention, patience, and purpose. This approach allows us to prioritize quality, consistency, and the care that goes into each vessel—ensuring every candle feels considered, personal, and made with intention.
Will you release new scents or collections?
Yes. We plan to introduce seasonal and limited releases.
Do you offer subscriptions or memberships?
Membership options may be introduced in the future for exclusive scents, early access, and special pricing.
