The idea behind Care More began in 2019 with a simple question:

What if we all cared a little more?

More for ourselves.
More for others.
More for our communities.
More for the environments we create and the lives we impact.

In a world that often feels rushed, overwhelming, and disconnected, Care More was created as a reminder to slow down and be intentional. To move through life with greater awareness, kindness, and appreciation for the people and moments that surround us.

What started as a message has evolved into a lifestyle brand centered around ritual, reflection, and thoughtful design.

Founded by architectural designer Jalen Vasquez, Care More is shaped by a background in architecture and a lifelong interest in how the spaces around us influence the way we feel. From studying architecture at Howard University recieveing his Master Degree to designing spaces professionally, Jalen learned to think intentionally about material, texture, proportion, atmosphere, and the experience created by even the smallest details.

That same way of thinking became part of Care More. Here, design isn't simply about how something looks. It's about how it feels, how it functions, how it lives within a space, and what remains after it's been used.

Our concrete candle vessels were designed to feel timeless, substantial, and grounded. Inspired by architectural materials and minimalist design, each piece is intended to become a lasting part of your space rather than something disposable. Through refillable candles, we encourage a slower, more intentional relationship with the objects we bring into our homes.

As Care More grows, the vision extends beyond candles. Future collections will expand into home goods, décor, and apparel; each designed with the same commitment to thoughtful materials, purposeful design, and meaningful experiences.
